§ Mr. BryanIn England and Wales, 255 effective appeals were lodged, of which 97 were allowed, 121 dismissed and 37 have not yet been heard. In Scotland, of 33 appeals lodged, six were allowed, 271W 20 dismissed and seven have not yet been heard.
