§ 28. Mr. Blenkinsop
asked the Secretary of State for Employment what arrangements are being made to increase training facilities on Tyneside, in view of the continuing heavy unemployment, especially amongst unskilled men.
§ Mr. Dudley Smith
Tyneside is already served by three Government Training Centres where there are training places still not taken up. But training facilities for the unemployed will be increased by the new measures announced by my right hon. Friend in his reply to my hon. Friend the Member for the High Peak (Mr. Le Marchant) on 4th November.—[Vol. 805, c. 383–4.]
