§ Mr. Graham PagePublic expenditure on road construction in the Northern Economic Planning Region for 1963–64 and 1969–70 was £9 million and £45.4 million respectively at out-turn prices*.
The level of expenditure in 1971–72 and 1972–73 cannot be forecast precisely at this stage but is expected to be of the same order as for 1969–70.
