§ Mr. SharplesFrom 1st January, 1966 to 30th September, 1970, 3,089 Commonwealth citizens, Irish citizens and aliens were recommended for deportation by the courts; and 1,812 deportation orders were made following court recommendations. There is no record of a recommendation for deportation on conviction of an offence under the Race Relations Act, 1965.
