§ Mr. RidleyNo. The merits and economics of tidal power are kept under114W review by the Department and I can see no reason for instituting a special investigation at this time. While it is true that tidal power does not cause atmospheric pollution, the massive civil engineering work would not be without impact on the environment nor would the ecology of the area be undisturbed.
