HC Deb 10 November 1970 vol 806 c76W
51. Mr. Biggs-Davison

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what reconsideration has been given to the decision to withdraw the mass mobile radiography service; what representations have been received from public bodies and private individuals in Essex and elsewhere calling for its continuance; and whether he will make a statement.

Mr. Alison

My Department has received many letters asking for the service to be continued. These have been carefully considered but they do not cause me to alter the reply my right hon. Friend gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Ipswich (Mr. Money) on 17th July.—[Vol. 803, c.280.]
