§ Mr. Armstrongasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will make a statement on advance factories at the Crook and Meadowfield Industrial Estates and the proposals for future expansion.
§ Mr. Anthony GrantBoth at Crook and at Meadowfield, five advance factories totalling 100,000 sq. ft. in each case have been authorised. On each estate, four factories have been completed, of which three are allocated. On each estate the fifth factory is under construction. I have no plans at present for further advance factories on either estate.
