§ Mr. Elystan Morganasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will now expedite the issue of the code of guidance to local authorities on the making 343W of grants to support unremunerative rural bus services.
§ Mr. Peter ThomasThis will be issued very shortly. In the meantime, I am already paying grant to two local authorities in respect of a service in Cardiganshire and have promised grant in respect of a second service. I am ready at any time to consider further applications where a local authority is contemplating making a grant.
