§ 46. Mr. Willeyasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether he will make a statement on advance factories in Sunderland.
§ Mr. RidleySince 1962, 7 advance factories totalling 150,000 sq. ft. have been authorised. 5 are completed, one is under construction, and the other is to be started shortly. Of those completed, 4 are allocated and interest has been expressed in the other. I have no plans at present for further advance factories.
