§ Mr. Ross:Guidance in this matter is given in the "Notes for Chairmen of Advisory Committees in Scotland on Justices of the Peace", and I am sending the hon. Member a copy of the relevant extract. This includes the recommendations of the last Royal Commission on Justices of the Peace on which that guidance is founded, and a copy of these is supplied on their appointment to all members of J.P. Advisory Committees.
