HC Deb 29 May 1970 vol 801 cc614-5W
Mr. Frank Allaun

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will introduce measures to prevent landlords or owner-occupiers selling their houses at higher prices shortly after receiving improvement grants from public funds, which improve the value of the house.

Mr. Freeson:

The condition restricting the sale of improved houses for owner-occupation was removed by the Housing Act, 1969. We have no evidence that this has caused any difficulties.
