Mr. Hugh Jenkins

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he has decided the level of quota of British films to be shown by exhibitors during the year beginning 1st January, 1971.

My right hon. Friend has decided to accept the advice of the Cinematograph Films Council and to leave the exhibitors' quota at 30 per cent. for first feature films and 25 per cent. for supporting programme for the year beginning 1st January, 1971.
