Selective Employment Tax

Mr. Emery

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish a table showing for each region of Great Britain the amount paid in selective employment tax for each financial year since 1966–67, the amount refunded for each region, and the in the light of the fall of stock exchange prices.

£150 million. Almost the whole of this yield is from realisations before 6th April, 1970.
