Mr. Boyd-Carpenter

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will now make a statement about the proposed date of operation of the National Superannuation and Social Insurance Bill.

Mr. Ennals:

I would ask the right hon. Gentleman to await the re-introduction of the National Superannuation and Social Insurance Bill by the Labour Government in the new Parliament.
