§ Sir G. de Freitasasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether, in view of the high birthrate in Northamptonshire, he will bring forward the date for the opening of the 104 bed maternity unit at Kettering General Hospital.
§ Dr. John Dunwoody:The board has submitted proposals with a view to bringing forward the starting date for development of the maternity unit. These proposals are being considered in the Department.
