  1. 1. What is the speed limit for vehicles in the Royal Parks;
  2. 2. What was the number of (a) prosecutions and (b) convictions for exceeding the limit during the past twelve months.

My Lords, the speed limit for vehicles in the Royal Parks is 30 m.p.h. The records of prosecutions and convictions for exceeding this limit are not, in all cases. readily available in this form, but in 1969 there were some 760 prosecutions and some 750 convictions.
