HC Deb 15 May 1970 vol 801 c422W
Mr. Hooley

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many pensioners are in receipt of supplementary benefit in Sheffield.

Mr. Ennals:

In February, 1970, about 26,000 retirement pensioners, excluding the wives of male recipients, were receiving a supplementary pension from the five local offices serving the city of Sheffield, two of which cover territory outside the city boundary.
