§ Mr. David Howellasked the Minister of Public Building and Works by what date the new Government offices in the block lying between Horseferry Road and Marsham Street will be occupied; how many Government employees will occupy it; and what their functions will be.
§ Mr. John Silkin:The building will be completed in the late autumn, and occupation will follow immediately. It will accommodate about 3,600 headquarters staff of the Ministries of Housing and Local Government and Transport and the Secretary of State for Local Government and Regional Planning and his staff.
