HC Deb 13 May 1970 vol 801 c303W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what, for the three-month period ended 28th February, 1970, was the total number of people injured on the road in the London Borough of Newham; how many were killed or seriously injured; and how many of this total figure were children.

Mr. Elystan Morgan:

The police have records of 494 personal injuries during the period, of which 90 were fatal or serious. It would involve a disproportionate effort to discover how many of those injured were children.
