§ 67. Mr. Sillarsasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity if she has considered the representations from the Trades Union Congress on the effect of the Budget on the development of a practicable voluntary incomes policy; and if she will now undertake to convene a national conference of both sides of industry to examine the role of a prices and incomes policy in an expanding economy.
§ Mr. Harold Walker:No representations have been received. My right hon. Friend does not propose to convene such a conference as her normal contacts with both sides are sufficient to keep her in touch with their views on the development of the policy.
