asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether the review of the Service discipline Acts has been completed; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Hattersley:

Legislation is being prepared which will seek to re-enact the Army and Air Force Acts, and provide a common code of offences and punishments for all three Services.
