43. Mr. Chataway

asked the Minister of Technology what study his Department is making into the possible implications for the United Kingdom of the measures proposed by the European Economic Community Commission in its memorandum on industrial policy of March 1970, for the creation of trans-national companies, a copy of which is in his possession.

Mr. Alan Williams:

As part of continuing work on European matters, the Department will study all aspects of the E.E.C. Commission's recommendations on industrial policy.
