asked the President of the Board of Trade it he will list the runway categories of the major airports in this country.

Mr. Goronwy Roberts

Runway 10R at London Heathrow and Runway 28 at Liverpool have Category II landing facilities. In addition, I.L.S. equipment which meets the Category II performance standard is installed as follows:

  • Heathrow 28L and 10L.
  • Birmingham 33.
  • Manchester 24.
  • Gatwick 09.
  • Prestwick 31.
