asked the Lord President of the Council if he will now propose the setting up of a Select Committee or Joint Committee on National Defence.

§ Mr. Peart
As the House will be aware, the Government are at present reviewing the whole Select Committee stucture. It is not anticipated that any further Specialist Select Committees will be set up before the House has had an opportunity to consider the system as a whole.
