§ Mr. Alfred Morrisasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether public funds are being made available towards the purchase by Manchester City Art Gallery of the painting by George Stubbs entitled "A Cheetah with two Indian Servants".
§ Miss Jennie LeeYes. An amount of £110,000 is being made available and an advance of this sum will be made from the Civil Contingencies Fund in the first instance. Parliamentary approval will be sought in due course.
