asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what was the total amount of levy paid to each industrial training board by organisations later found to be outside the scope of the Industrial Training Act, 1964; how much of this incorrectly collected levy has been returned; and what action she is taking to see that any balance still outstanding shall now be returned.

The Construction and Road Transport Boards have not made any special repayments of levy since the employers affected enjoyed the full benefit of grants and other services from the boards throughout the relevant levy periods. But the Hotel and Catering Board is repaying all levy paid in the current levy period by affected employers since many other employers had withheld levy payments pending the House of Lords' decision in the R.A.C. case.
