HC Deb 19 March 1970 vol 798 c179W
Sir W. Bromley-Davenport

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will now make a statement on the special conference convened by the Swiss Government with the International Civil Aviation Organisation to consider the security of aircraft following the air disaster in Switzerland on 1st February.

Mr. Foley

The conference will take the form of an extraordinary session of the Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (I.C.A.O.) which is being convened at the request of 10 member states, including the United Kingdom. The latest news from Montreal, where the arrangements are being considered in the I.C.A.O. Council, is that the Assembly will meet in Montreal on 16th June.
