HC Deb 17 March 1970 vol 798 c112W
Mr. Geoffrey Lloyd

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will give an estimate for the latest convenient period of one year of the number of reports furnished by the police under the provisions of Section 214(5) of the Road Traffic Act 1960; and how many forms are in use by the police in connection with such reports.

Mr. Elystan Morgan

I regret that 1 am not in a position to estimate the number of reports. I understand that the Metropolitan police use one form to pass on the information when it has not been provided orally; and that in two accident report documents they record the fact that the information has been provided.
