HC Deb 13 March 1970 vol 797 c396W
Mr. William Price

asked the Minister of Public Building and Works how many ponds and fountains are maintained by his Department; how much money is extracted from them each year; and what happens to the proceeds.

Mr. John Silkin

To obtain the information requested in the first and second parts of the Question would involve a disproportionate amount of staff time. Any money found when ponds and fountains are cleaned is credited to the Exchequer.
