§ Mr. William Priceasked the Minister of Public Building and Works whether he will take steps to allow Oxfam to erect a sign in front of the carp pond at the Jewel Tower encouraging tourists to throw money into the pond for charity; and whether he will take steps to allow Oxfam to keep the money that is already in there.
§ Mr. John SilkinThe moat of the Jewel Tower is a public amenity. I do not think it would be desirable to use it as a means of raising contributions for a private charity however worthy the cause.
