HC Deb 12 March 1970 vol 797 cc353-4W
19. Mr. Stratton Mills

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what criteria he will take into account in his review of the British Standard Time experiment.

Mrs. Shirley Williams

The review will take into account factual information about the effects of the change in the hours of darkness, including statistics of accidents, and changes in productivity and in the volume of communications with the Continent. It will also include consideration of the results of the social survey which is being conducted to obtain the views of the general public.
