asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many farmers in Cornwall have taken advantage of the farm amalgamation scheme since its inception.

At the end of February, 1970, 51 applications from farmers in Cornwall had been approved under the Farm Amalgamations and Boundary Adjustments Scheme and 41 applications were under consideration. Under the associated Payments to Outgoers Scheme, 39 applications had been approved and 28 were under consideration.
