§ Commander Purseyasked the Secretary of State for Defence why the commanding officer of a Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers soldier in Germany, who three months ago paid £150 to the Regimental Pay Officer, Nottingham, failed to forward the application for discharge by purchase; why the wrong forms were used; and why the man has been posted to another unit instead of being discharged to take up a job in Australia.
