30. Mr. Christopher Ward

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what was the percentage increase in public expenditure at 1969 prices on further education between 1960–61 and 1964–65 and between 1965–66 and 1969–70, respectively.

Figures are not available for the period 1960–61 to 1964–65. I estimate at a little over 30 per cent. the increase in England and Wales in the period 1965–66 to 1969–70.
