§ 68. Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what increase he will seek in the offset charges met by the West German Government to cover the higher rents to be charged to British Servicemen in Germany.
§ Mr. LuardThe current Anglo-German Offset Agreement is related to the total net estimated foreign exchange costs of our forces in Germany. It is not affected by the new arrangements announced on 25th February by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Defence for recovery by Her Majesty's Government of quartering charges from individual Servicemen.
