Mr. Crouch

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) if he intends to accept the recommendations of the Swann Committee Report;

(2) when he proposes to implement each specific recommendation in the Swann Committee's Report.

My right hon. Friend is giving urgent consideration to the recommendations of the Swann Report in consultation with his colleagues. We shall announce shortly the action we propose to take.
