asked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications whether he is satisfied that the Post Office Users' National Council as at present constituted adequately represents the interests of telephone users; and whether he proposes to make any alterations.

The Post Office Users' National Council was appointed under the Post Office Act 1969 to look after the interests of Post Office users generally. Its members have been chosen so as to be representative of the great variety of customers served by the Post Office. I do not propose to make any changes
