HC Deb 23 July 1970 vol 804 c224W
Sir G. Nabarro

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government, in view of the opposition to the proposal for creating a gipsy caravan site at Pinvin, South Worcestershire, and the threat to security involved in the proximity of the proposed site to the Royal Radar Establishment at Pershore, Worcestershire, whether he will call in the matter and order a public local inquiry to be held under his inspector; and whether he will make a statement.

Mr. Graham Page

I understand discussions are in progress between the local authorities concerned. At this stage it is up to the local residents and the Royal Radar Establishment to make any objections they may have, to the county council.
