§ Mr. van StraubenzeeI understand that 93 children due to transfer this year from primary schools in the Birmingham, Ladywood constituency were offered selective secondary school places. This number represents 13.7 per cent. of the age group. The corresponding figure for the whole of the city is 27.9 per cent.
