§ Sir J. Gilmourasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what increases there have been in costs which were taken into account in fixing prices in the 1970 March Price Review since the publication of this review; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Anthony StodartAn estimate of cost changes subsequent to those shown in the 1970 Annual Review White Paper would—in conventional Review terms—give a net increase in a full year approaching £11 million. This estimate does not, however, reflect the actual effect on farm incomes and it is not possible to relate it directly to the value of the determinations in the 1970 Review.
