asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many agricultural workers there were in England and Wales in 1951, 1961, 1966 and March, 1970, respectively.

The number of workers on agricultural holdings in England and Wales was 708,100 at June, 1951, 534,800 at June, 1961, 429,700 at June, 1966, and 323,200 at March, 1970.
