asked the Minister for the Civil Service what is his estimate of the cost of conferring the right to preservation of accrued pension rights for all persons leaving employment in the public service, expressed as an annual capital provision.

asked the Minister for the Civil Service what is his estimate of the cost of conferring transferability of pension rights on all employees leaving the public sector for any other employment, assuming comparable terms to those established in transfers between local authorities.
