HC Deb 20 July 1970 vol 804 c11W
87. Mr. Tinn

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what action he proposes to take to remedy the shortage of medical practitioners in Skelton-in-Cleveland.

Mr. Alison

I understand that, although two partners have left a local practice, the practice has had other medical help which has enabled it to care for its patients, and that a new partner will be arriving in the autumn. The North Riding Executive Council is giving all the help it can but neither it nor my right hon. Friend can direct doctors where to practise.
