HC Deb 20 July 1970 vol 804 c3W
61. Mr. Rankin

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will inquire into the circumstances surrounding the death of Mr. Fu Chi Kin of Hong Kong who was removed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kowloon, on 28th January last and died there the following morning; whether he is satisfied that everything was done to prolong, if not to save, Mr. Fu Chi Kin's life; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Anthony Royle

Mr. Fu Chi Kin's death was due to chronic heart disease. I have been assured by the Governor that everything possible was done to prolong and save Mr. Fu Chi Kin's life.
