§ Mr. CarlisleThe plans for the redevelopment of Holloway prison on its present site are well advanced and provide for preliminary demolition work to start this autumn. My right hon. Friend recognises the housing shortage in Islington and other London boroughs, but an intensive search failed to reveal any other suitable site for this prison.
