HC Deb 20 July 1970 vol 804 c2W
44. Mr. Rose

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will reconsider the amount of time allocated to broadcasting in various languages by the British Broadcasting Corporation, which broadcasts 70 hours of Arabic but no Albanian, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Basque, Galician, Breton or Hebrew; and why more time is given to the Arabic service than to other language services.

Mr. Godber

The amount of time allocated to broadcasting in the various languages is kept constantly under review.
