asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the progress made on the evaluation of Scottish manpower planning post-1970.

Mr. Gordon Campbell

The Scottish Economic Planning Board is currently engaged on an examination of the factors likely to determine the labour supply and demand in Scotland over the next five years.
