HC Deb 13 July 1970 vol 803 c137W
Mr. Money

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many prisoners detained in Her Majesty's Prisons in England and Wales are at the present time being held in removal from association with other prisoners under Rule 43 of Statutory Instrument, 1964, No. 388, other than those convicted of sexual offences or by reason of a request made by a prisoner on his own part.

Mr. Carlisle

On 4th July, 1970, there were 91 prisoners who had been removed from association with other prisoners otherwise than at their own request. The number of these who had not been convicted of sexual offences is not readily available.
