§ Mr. Peter ThomasThe development of the existing towns of mid-Wales is primarily the responsibility of the local authorities and, in the case of Newtown, the Mid-Wales Development Corporation. Discussions are to be held with the authorities concerned to consider what further steps should be taken to encourage necessary developments.
