§ Mr. Hannamasked the Minister of Transport when the proposed motorway, M5, from Bristol and the Midlands will reach Exeter; and if he will give priority to the construction of an underpass or footbridge through the existing bypass, to alleviate the problem of families whose homes are separated from places of work, schools and play areas by the bypass.
§ Mr. Michael HeseltineCompletion of M5 as far as Exeter is envisaged by the mid-1970's. The need for pedestrian facilities on the existing bypass is being investigated.
